Just trying to get sorted with posting to my MangoBlog with an external editor.
Tried ScribeFire, I could connect ok, but posting didn't want to work and there didn't seem to be an error.
Update 2 : Trying out Deepest Sender.... Cool! That works too.
Update 3 : Looks like something has changed in ScribeFire to do with date formats. Laura at ASFusion is aware of the problem and I haven't had a chance to look at it myself, so I'm currently using Deepest Sender. One thing to note with Deepest Sender; The category list is populated using the description rather than the category title, so make sure you've got something in the category description in Mango Blog admin.
Aug 22, 2008 at 5:23 PM Came across this entry and wanted to reach out from ScribeFire and try and work with you to fix whatever issues your coming across. We'd love it if you could send your issues in detail to support@scribefire.com so we could attack any bugs our users are encountering as quickly as possible.
Additionally, we are always looking for feature requests to improve our product, and that can be done at our platform- http://code.google.com/p/scribefire/issues/list
Thanks!
Eliana.
Sep 11, 2008 at 11:14 PM Hi Eliana,
Thanks for getting in touch. Sorry for the slow response.
We managed to work out what the problem was and Laura at asfusion resolve it. http://snipurl.com/3pg2b
The problem was down to the api in mango blog parsing the date format that ScribeFire was posting, which I'm guessing changed (correctly) at some point recently.
New features.... When's the Google Chrome plugin coming?? ;oD
